UK China Investment Expo (UCIE) is a branding event operating by George Shaef Consulting Ltd. It took place at the Bloomberg in central London on 29th June 2013. This event aimed to attract and to help the Chinese investors and entrepreneurs entering to the UK market. It is a perfect platform for businesses and organizations to communicate and build connections between the UK and China.
This event was hosted by George Shaef in both China and UK in 2013, it successfully helped 20-30 potential UK investment projects entering to China and attracted 50 Chinese investors to come to the UK market for investment purpose.

China Special Steel Enterprises Association visiting the University of Sheffield for the 100th anniversary of the invention of stainless steel in 2013:
George Shaef organized an overseas recruitment trip in the UK and France for the Hua Qiao University. It includes a 8 days’ trip and 3 recruitment events in London, Oxford and Paris. The recruiting group included the Vice Chancellor Professor Liu Bin, Head of HR Mr Huiyong Huang, Professor Guo in Engineering and Professor Liu in Arts.
The main target attendees were the PhD students and university professors who were interested in working in Chinese universities. Over 200 CVs were received and over 30 candidates arrived for the interview stage.
